Today I'm talking ratios. 🎯What does the perf Today I'm talking ratios. 🎯What does the perfect plate look like?Clients generally start creating great habits on the programme but can sometimes get their plate wrong when it comes to the split.Too many carbs.. 🍞Not enough protein.. 🍗Nowhere near enough greens. 🥦Here are 3 examples from past client Max on the programme who lost a whopping 55lbs in 12 weeks. He generally got his plates spot on.So what is the right split? As a general rule I like to promote the following..Protein takes up 50% of the plate (if red meat swap that to 40%)Good carbohydrate like sweet potato or basmati rice to take up 25% of plate.Dark green veg which is high in folate like broccoli, spinach, kale or asparagus the other 25%This post was inspired by a chat I was having with Tim Strongman last night about ratios..Give this a go and watch how..1) how filling this can be and2) how you don't blow the bank with calories.Success in wellness-Coach Pete#protein #greens #carbs #fitness

✋I'm talking to busy professional men over the a ✋I'm talking to busy professional men over the age of 40 in this post. 👈✋Now here is the thing...Unfortunately the older you get a few things happen to your body.1. Your basal metabolic rate starts to drop (the rate you burn calories at rest2.You start to lose lean muscle3.Your testosterone levels starts to decrease.4. You then combine this with external factors such as stress, a lack of movement (think working long days at a desk, sitting in meetings etc) and poor food choices and you may find you're up against it.5. Finally- you are super busy and generally become time poor when it comes to focusing on YOUR own health. That is why I created the following 4 steps on our 12 week programme.1. Body Appraisal and Audit 🧐2. Metabolism Stimulation 🍗3. Strength Physique Training 💪4. Optimal Energy Positioning 🔥Each step plays a crucial role in getting you back to your peak self. And each step compliments the other nicely.Drop me a DM if you are curious to find out more about the 4 steps below.Success in wellness,Coach Pete
