Congratulations goes to this year’s winner of PGPT’s Client of the Year Danny Drukarz.
Danny joined PGPT back in May thanks to a referral from his close friend Anthony. Danny had tremendous results with PGPT starting with an initial weight of 107.7kgs going down to 94.4kg and a reduction of body fat from 28.8% down to 19.4%!
In his own words, here is why Danny felt like he needed to change and what he thought about PGPT.

1. What made you start your fitness journey with PGPT?
I felt that I needed to do something about my weight and a good friend recommended me to PGPT. It was the perfect storm..
2. How were you feeling before making the change?
I was always feeling bloated and I was unhappy that I had let myself go.
3. What’s your routine look like now?
Nice. I have a PGPT Trainer twice a week and a program I follow in the gym as often as I can get down there (roughly 2/3 visits per week)
4. What were 3 things about the programme with PGPT which helped you to change your lifestyle?
Understanding my genetics (PGPT DNA tested me) better and what worked for me on an individual basis. *Danny was lactose intolerant and also had a predisposition to coeliac disease.
Falling in love with vanilla protein shakes (with a dash of ice!) My protein based, low carb, non-dairy diet was easier to stick to than I thought it would be and substituting dark for milk chocolate means you can still have treats!
*Danny wasn’t consuming enough protein and shakes were a quick win for him being a busy Londoner.
I enjoy boxing and weights and I feel like my body became a lot more supple and stronger as the fat burnt off and my weight started to come down. Getting into old shirts was nice too!
*Danny had never spent any time focusing on weight training and this has really helped boost his metabolism.
5. What would you say to anyone thinking about starting personal training with PGPT?
Do it! Particularly for those of us in middle age. It’ll only get worse unless active steps are taken and you keep it going. Expensive but definitely worthwhile.
6. Do you see yourself keeping your new look for ever?
Very much so, because you look and feel better you don’t want to go back. And exercise is rewarding with a measurable output.

Danny was a real pleasure to work with from day one. Willing to change, committed to the program and accountable on every level. It made Danny a very easy client to work with.
What was nice, was that when Danny came to us back in May he was suffering with a bad knee post-surgery and was limited with a lot of the lower body exercises that he could perform.
As the weight started to fall off the movement and flexibility started to improve in Danny’s knee and he began to be able to perform exercises he thought he could never do again (lunges, squats, stair runs etc).
We are all so proud of Danny’s efforts and results and we can’t wait to see who the contenders will be for 2018!
